Made a trip to New Orleans this past weekend and made it a point of going visit the reconstruction of the Neptune State from the 1984 World's Fair. The statue still has a way to go before it's back to it's full glory, but it was nice to see once again. The only thing I'm worried about is that there is a billboard that blocks the view of the statue when you are driving down Tchoupitoulas, hopefully the billboard is only temporary and will be taken down when the statue is finished.
